Commissioners, court reporters take buyouts in L.A.

Nine court commissioners have agreed to take voluntary buyouts as part of Los Angeles County Superior Court's ongoing efforts to trim its operations in an era of enormous budget cuts.

LOS ANGELES - Nine superior court commissioners have taken voluntary buyouts as part of cost-cutting measures and will leave the court by Dec. 30.
