Judge dismisses foreign Toyota plaintiffs

Lawyers for foreign plaintiffs who joined the stampede of economic damages claims against Toyota Motor Corp. in federal court have been sent packing.


In a 35-page decision notable for its sharp tone, U.S. District Judge James V. Selna on Monday tentatively dismissed the foreign plaintiffs' economic damage claims with prejudice, citing numerous deficiencies.
