Woman sentenced in insider trading case

A San Francisco federal judge sentenced the wife of a former Deloitte Tax LLP partner to 11 months in prison Tuesday.

A San Francisco federal judge sentenced the wife of a former Deloitte Tax LLP partner to 11 months in prison Tuesday for lying to the Securities and Exchange Commission during an insider trading investigation.

Annabel McClellan previously agreed to pay a $1 million civil fine to resolve the SEC's allegations that she tipped off relatives to confidential deals involving Deloitte's clients.
