The Bay Area's Big Law graveyard is littered with big firms that crumbled into bankruptcy: Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP in 2003, Heller Ehrman LLP in 2008, Thelen LLP in 2009 and most recently, Howrey LLP in March.
