San Bernardino judge remembered as mentor, distinguished prosecutor
Brian D. Saunders, a San Bernardino County Superior Court judge of nearly 20 years and a former county prosecutor, died Tuesday at 63.

A funeral mass was held Thursday for Brian D. Saunders, a San Bernardino County Superior Court judge of nearly 20 years and a former county prosecutor, who died last week. He was 62.
Saunders was working in the court's Family Law and Probate Division, and died at home on Dec. 27. He had served in criminal, civil, juvenile and drug court, Presiding Judge Raymond L. Haight III said in an email....
