Volkswagen settles with state over more polluting vehicles
Attorney General Kamala D. Harris and the California Air Resources Board announced Tuesday that they have reached a $66 million settlement with Volkswagen AG over the company's use of software that evaded emissions tests on diesel vehicles.

Volkswagen AG has agreed to pay $66 million to settle litigation over the company's use of software that evaded emissions tests on diesel vehicles, the California attorney general and the Air Resources Board announced Tuesday.
