Alameda County commissioner resigns ahead of hearings

Alameda County Superior Court Commissioner Taylor R. Culver, who was facing formal proceedings on accusations of judicial malfeasance, has resigned ahead of hearings set by the Commission on Judicial Performance to commence on Jan. 23.

Alameda County Superior Court Commissioner Taylor R. Culver, who was facing formal proceedings on judicial malfeasance charges, has resigned ahead of hearings set by the Commission on Judicial Performance to commence on Jan. 23.

He resigned on Nov. 30, and the accusations have been dismissed, according to a commission statement released Tuesday.
