Public Defender Is Sued by Renters

SAN FRANCISCO - Despite repeated warnings from city health and building officials, longtime San Francisco Deputy Public Defender Daro Inouye failed to repair substandard and life-threatening conditions in his rental property, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday by his renters.
