Property Squabble Results in $25 Million Settlement

A hillside project of 572 luxury homes in the Verdugo Mountains caused a politically charged legal dispute between the developer, Gregg Development Inc., and the city of Glendale. Ten years after the development was proposed, the parties ended their squabble with a $25.25 million December settlement for the developer in exchange for handing over the 238-acre parcel to a conservancy.
