City Attorney Opposes $1 a Year Lease for Literary Center

Officials from the Los Angeles city attorney's office reported last week that they would not recommend approval of a 25-year lease promised in January to Beyond Baroque, a longtime fixture of the West Coast literary scene, run by Fred Dewey.
