Court of Appeal Rejects Last-Minute Updates to Contingency-Fee Agreements
The 2nd District Court of Appeal on Friday rejected a move to use some hastily handwritten updates to a contingency-fee contract as justification to make a man pay his former lawyer $300,000 instead of the $75,000 promised originally.
