Ralph Clifford Walker, 1938-2012
When Walker joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in 1965 he was its 26th lawyer. Over the next 40 years, he would help build the firm and spearhead its involvement in financial securitizations.

Ralph Clifford Walker, a longtime partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP who helped build the firm into a global powerhouse, died on Dec. 22. He was 74.
He had been in the hospital for several months, said his wife, Kathy Walker.
