Saga Continues For Couple That Tried to Buy Car
The saga continues for a San Jose couple that wanted to get a good deal on a car four years ago. In 1999, Trini and Ramon Chavez allegedly gave Olga Elvira Pardo, aka Angelina Farfan, $8,661 to buy them a Toyota Camry and a Chevy Tahoe. The couple never saw the cars or the money again, they say. The Chavez couple filed a civil suit against Pardo under her Farfan alias. Trini Chavez v. Angelina Farfan CV791761 (L.A. Super. Ct., filed Aug. 9, 2000).
