Trial Is Set In Death of McPherson
SAN FRANCISCO - A judge bound over two men for trial Thursday in the robbery and murder of a state senator's son. Superior Court Judge Ksenia Tsenin set a June 6 arraignment date for Clifton Terrell, 19, and Dwayne Reed, 23 in the Nov. 17, 2001 murder of Hunter McPherson, son of Sen. Bruce McPherson, R-Santa Cruz. Each defendant is also charged with two counts of attempted robbery and four counts of robbery.
