DA Seeks Ruling on Fees for Settlement Funds

SANTA ANA - As attorney Melanie Rae Blum and former attorney Mark Elliot Roseman are brought to trial on charges they siphoned their client trust account, the prosecutor said he will seek a first-blush ruling that lawyers cannot claim fees or costs if they do not deliver settlement funds in a timely fashion.
