Jury Awards $51 Million in Child's Shooting
SAN FRANCISCO - An Oakland jury awarded $50.9 million Wednesday to a teen-age boy left quadriplegic by an accidental shooting in 1994. The jurors reached their verdict a little over two weeks after they found that a gun distributor, manufacturer and the pawn shop that sold the gun shared responsibility for the accident.
