Asbestos Verdict Shakes Insurers

LOS ANGELES - A $189 million jury verdict in a Los Angeles case has shaken the insurance industry, which for the first time will be forced to pay in advance to cover estimated future losses from asbestos policies, attorneys said Wednesday.
