TFT price-fixing trial draws to a close

In closing statements Thursday in a rare civil price-fixing trial, attorneys for the plaintiffs and defendant Toshiba Corp. stuck to their guns, finishing the case off in much the same way they began it in May.

SAN FRANCISCO - In closing statements Thursday in a rare civil price-fixing trial, attorneys for the plaintiffs and defendant Toshiba Corp. stuck to their guns, finishing the case off in much the same way they began it in May.


According to the plaintiffs, Toshiba was a back-seat player in a scheme to fix the prices of LCD panels. According to Toshiba, that can't be proven.
