Orrick represents Yammer in sale to Microsoft

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP represented Yammer Inc. in its $1.2 billion sale to Microsoft Corp., one of the largest technology startup sales of the year.

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP notched its second huge startup sale of the year Monday, representing enterprise social networking company Yammer Inc. in its sale to Microsoft Corp. for $1.2 billion in cash.


Orrick also represented San Francisco photo sharing startup Instagram in its pending sale to Facebook Inc..
