Jury convicts ex-Paramount president in $3 million fraud case

A Los Angeles jury awarded nearly $3 million this week to a wealthy Brazilian businessman who accused once-powerful Paramount and Disney president David Kirkpatrick and others of fraudulently inducing him to invest millions in their now-defunct Christian production company, Good News Holdings.
