$7 million for couple in asbestos case

A husband and wife received $7 million after a Los Angeles Superior Court jury ruled the husband developed a form of lung cancer from an asbestos-laden dry wall product.

Following a three-month trial, a Los Angeles County jury has awarded $7 million to a man and his wife after ruling the husband developed mesothelioma from a drywall product that contained asbestos.
