Judge unsympathetic to man held 6 years for civil contempt

The case involves an alleged mortgage scheme and the unknown location of $360,540.

SANTA ANA — A man who's been jailed for six years on a civil contempt charge and spends most of his time in solitary confinement had a tough sell in superior court Friday, as the judge appeared unsympathetic and questioned whether the man is in a long game of chicken over a large amount of missing money.
