Special master declines meeting with State Bar leaders, seeks data by deadline

Bar CEO Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker suggested the in-person meeting the day after receiving 2nd District Court of Appeal Justice Elwood Lui's Oct. 20 letter seeking additional information from the bar to assist him in his work as special master.

The special master assisting the state Supreme Court in evaluating the State Bar's funding request has declined an invitation to meet with the agency's executive director and president, but he is still seeking additional data from the agency by a Monday deadline.
