The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals revived a putative securities class action Wednesday against Arena Pharmaceuticals Inc.
U.S. District Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo of the Southern District of California dismissed the case in March 2014, but a unanimous circuit panel reversed the dismissal after concluding the plaintiffs' pleadings contained a sufficient showing of scienter by Arena.
