Apple Settles iPod Patent Dispute for $100 Million

Apple Computer has agreed to pay $100 million to settle a dispute over a patent used in its iPod, the company's popular digital music player. The agreement between Apple and Creative Technology, of Singapore, ends all legal disputes between Apple and Creative Technology, of Singapore, ends all legal disputes between the two companies, the firms announced Wednesday.
