Fascination With Language Finds Malapropism Spilled on the Page

I enjoy words, so I liked the story entitled "Fascinated by Language" by Anat Rubin (Daily Journal, August 15).

I enjoy words, so I liked the story entitled "Fascinated by Language" by Anat Rubin (Daily Journal, August 15).
      However, I can't help but think that the subject of the article, Commissioner David Cowan, would find it ironic that the sub-heading described him as "pouring" over footnotes when he was a law clerk.
      Perhaps Commissioner Cowan was drinking on the job and spilled his beer, when he should have...
