Court Education Panel OKs Mandatory Classes for Judges

SAN FRANCISCO - Setting up a showdown this fall between the Judicial Council and hundreds of trial judges throughout the state, the governing board of the state judges' college has pushed forward a proposal mandating continuing education for all trial-court judges.
