Senate Committee Approves Mueller

The Senate Judiciary Committee approved Magistrate Judge Kimberly J. Mueller's nomination Thursday to be a district judge in California's overloaded and understaffed Eastern District.

The Senate Judiciary Committee approved Magistrate Judge Kimberly J. Mueller's nomination Thursday to be a district judge in California's overloaded and understaffed Eastern District. Following the committee vote, California Democrat Sen. Barbara Boxer urged Senate leadership to bring Mueller's nomination to the floor for a confirmation vote as soon as possible.
