SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco Superior County Court may have to lay off nearly a quarter of its staff to stave off a budget deficit of at least $11.8 million in the next fiscal year, officials said Thursday.
Presiding Judge James McBride confirmed the court estimates having to cut up to 122 employees, or 23 percent of its workforce.
