Republicans Try to Block 9th Circuit Nominee

Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee seized Tuesday on UC Berkeley School of Law professor Goodwin Liu's failure to fully disclose everything required on his 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals nomination questionnaire.

WASHINGTON - Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday seized on UC Berkeley School of Law professor Goodwin Liu's failure to fully disclose everything required on his 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals nomination questionnaire, prompting them to call for an indefinite postponement of his confirmation hearing and say his nomination is in "jeopardy."
