Suit Revives Against Girardi Over Fees

A Court of Appeal in Los Angeles revived a lawsuit Monday against prominent plaintiffs attorney Tom Girardi.

A state appeals court on Monday revived a lawsuit against prominent plaintiffs' attorney Tom Girardi.

Joseph L. Shalant, a now-disbarred attorney who has been declared a vexatious litigant, sued Girardi and two insurance companies in 2006. He claimed they withheld $27,000 that was part of his share of a personal injury settlement.
