Pawnshop Owner Has Rights to Stolen Ring
SAN FRANCISCO - The city of Oakland must stand trial for returning a stolen $600 diamond ring to its owner. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said so Tuesday, in an opinion overturning a trial judge's ruling against a pawnshop owner who also asserted a claim to the property.
