Armenians Sue Turkey Over Genocide

Armenian descendants living in the United States sued the Republic of Turkey in federal court in Los Angeles Thursday, seeking compensation for property allegedly taken during the Armenian genocide.

LOS ANGELES - Armenian descendants living in the United States sued the Republic of Turkey in federal court Thursday, seeking compensation for property allegedly taken during the Armenian genocide - the first case of its kind to fault the Turkish government for actions related to the genocide.
