Facebook Wins Patent Case

A Delaware jury found Facebook Inc. was not liable for patent infringement against an Ohio-based company, because it had sold products more than a year prior to submitting a patent application.

Facebook Inc. won its very first jury trial on Wednesday, defeating an Ohio-based software company's patent infringement claim by persuading a Delaware jury that Leader Technologies' patent was invalid.
