The California Supreme Court agreed to review Wednesday whether a lawsuit against prominent plaintiffs' attorney Tom Girardi should go forward.
Joseph L. Shalant, a now-disbarred attorney who had been declared a vexatious litigant, sued Girardi and two insurance companies in 2006. He claimed they withheld $27,000 of his share of a personal injury settlement.
