No Changes to State Wage Claims Policy
State wage claims policy has not changed, says Deputy Chief Labor Commissioner Denise Padres.

Ann Liroff's July 14 article entitled "Budget Crisis Hits California Wage Claims Process," as has been the case for the 30 years that I have been with the Division, our policy has not changed and Ms. Liroff's claim that we automatically set all complaints for a formal hearing is erroneous.
