Bakersfield Gets New Courthouse

The new satellite federal courthouse will house a magistrate judge and various other court-related services.

WASHINGTON - Construction started Monday on a new federal courthouse in Bakersfield. The new building, one of four satellite courthouses in the Eastern District of California that support the main facilities in Fresno and Sacramento, will house a magistrate judge and various other court-related services.
