Bar Board Gets New Members

Five lawyers were elected to the State Bar Board of Governors, the bar announced Friday.

Members of the State Bar have elected five California lawyers to the Board of Governors, the bar announced Friday.

Each will serve a three-year term on the board, the governing and policy making arm of the 228,000-member organization. They will be sworn in at the bar's annual meeting Sept. 25 in Monterey.
