Toyota Loses Infringement Case

Mission Viejo auto brokers persuaded a federal appellate court their websites buy-a-lexus.com and buyorleaselexus.com don't infringe on Toyota's trademark.

When Toyota sued Mission Viejo-based husband-and-wife auto brokers in federal court for trademark infringement, the couple defended themselves pro se and persuaded a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel to reverse a trial judge and decide the case in their favor.
