Northrop Arm Pays $12.5 M To Settle False Claims Case

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. has agreed to pay $12.5 million to settle allegations it knowingly submitted false claims to government agencies through the sale of untested parts, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES - Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. has agreed to pay the U.S. $12.5 million to settle allegations it knowingly submitted false claims to several government agencies when it sold them manufactured electronic parts for military vehicles and space equipment that hadn't been fully tested, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.
