Beverly Hills firm faces $12 million judgment

A New York judge hit Butler & Dodge LLP with a more than $12 million judgment in a lawsuit brought over claims the firm defaulted on a loan.

Beverly Hills-based Butler & Dodge LLP was hit with a more than $12 million judgment in a lawsuit brought in New York over claims the firm defaulted on a loan.


Plaintiff LFR Collections LLC filed suit against the firm in July, alleging Butler & Dodge failed to pay back millions of dollars owed on a loan plus interest, nearly four years after the repayment was due.
