Judge acquitted of battery charges in dog poop fight

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Craig Richman will be given back his old post presiding over a felony trial court downtown.

VAN NUYS - A jury acquitted a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge Thursday of allegations that he pushed a woman to the ground following an argument over picking up dog poop, finding that Craig Richman acted in self-defense.


Richman will return to his old post presiding over a felony trial court downtown, a court spokeswoman confirmed after the verdict was delivered.
