SEC chairwoman pledges 'active year of enforcements'

Mary Jo White made her comments at the Securities Regulation Institute that Northwestern University School of Law hosts every year in Coronado. Her remarks weren't new - she's previously promised tougher enforcement.

CORONADO - Securities and Exchange Commission chairwoman Mary Jo White on Monday promised "an active year of enforcements" and said the "no admit, no deny" stance the agency has previously taken with many companies would decrease in frequency.
