Appellate court sides with law firm in flap over client trust account

The unpublished opinion upheld an Orange County trial judge's 2012 ruling that the client's complaint against Callahan & Blaine is barred because the matter had already been litigated.

A state appellate panel has ruled in favor of an Orange County law firm in a longrunning battle in which a client alleged the firm was concealing and misusing funds from a client trust account.


The unpublished opinion upheld Orange County Superior Court Judge Ronald L. Bauer's 2012 ruling that the client's complaint is barred because the matter had already been litigated.
