Evans loses Judiciary Committee chair post
Sen. Noreen Evans will be replaced as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee by Sen. Hannah Beth Jackson.

Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento, formally announced committee appointments Wednesday. Among other changes, Sen. Noreen Evans, D-Santa Rosa, was removed from her position as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee. She will be replaced by Sen. Hannah Beth Jackson, D-Santa Barbara.
