Toymaker MGA Entertainment Inc. on Monday breathed new life into its long-running trade secret dispute with rival Mattel Inc. by filing a $1 billion case in state court.
The move comes just weeks after U.S. District Judge David O. Carter decided not to let the trade secret portion of the case continue in federal court once previous federal copyright issues had been resolved.
