Succeeding at Getting Airline Off to a Flying Start
Palo Alto's Brobeck Phleger & Harrison partner Curtis Mo led JetBlue Airways Corp. in its initial public offering that brought in more than $158 million for the Kew Gardens, N.Y., company. JetBlue did surprisingly well for a company in an industry that has suffered greatly since Sept. 11. The company priced its common shares at $27 each for the offering, which later shot up to $45 per share after the first full day of trading.
