VIANT GETS $120 MILLION IN A DIVINE TRANSACTION

Divine inc. has agreed to acquire Viant Corp. in a stock and cash deal worth $120 million. The deal was announced April 5. Chicago's divine provides software and other business services, including infrastructure planning, marketing development and online security monitoring to middle-market firms, government agencies and educational institutions.
