Justices Allow Pharmacies That Compound Drugs to Advertise
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Monday that a federal law banning the advertising or promotion of drugs that are specially compounded to meet the needs of individual patients is an unconstitutional restriction on commercial speech under the First Amendment.
