TICKETMASTER FINDS ITS SOULMATES DOWN UNDER

Ticketmaster has agreed to acquire Soulmates Technology in a stock deal worth $23 million. The deal was announced March 27. Los Angeles-based Ticketmaster sells sports and entertainment event tickets through its Web site, telephone system and retail outlets. Its subsidiaries include citysearch.com, a Web site that keeps viewers informed of events in their city, and match.com, which pairs singles across the world.
